    Hi folks,

didn't want to buy the ibeat software and the expensive LeoVinve so I decided to get the original Husky tuning kit 8000H1245 for the TE310. The kit contains a new ECU and a 3045g aluminium silencer.

It's plug and play. Bike is reving up to 12000rpms very powerful now. Exhaust is very quiet (94db). I tried also to remove the db-insert. Loud and the bike is bogging when you turn quick the throttle. Like a wrong adjusted accelerator pump or leak jet on a carb.

Best investment for my baby until now!

Disadvantage: Exhaust is very heavy but didn't want to spend 200EUR more for the titan version.

Thanks for letting us know Joe.

It seems hard to keep up with all the options out there.

Do you have the O2 sensor out and 2.2k ohm resistor plugged in where the O2 sensor was plugged in? (power up kit installed, open loop)

Hi, everything was uncorked but I was not so happy with the power delivery of the 310. Had a short delay during accelerating so about 9000rpms.
The Husky kit was the best solution for me, because I live in downtown of a big city and can't go out easy for a test ride after playing with laptop and ibeat.

For me, the kit works perfect out of the box.

    Hi,

the kit contains both. ECU only is not available. My new bike (uncorked from the dealer) was running fine but not so powerful. My wifes Yam WR250F with Akrapovic exhaust and perfect jetting was running much better. Think with the ibeat software and much time you will get also the same results. For me with the next dealer far away was the plug and play solution the easiest way.

Is the kit muffler heavier than the stock one. Does it have a nice sound or does it sound like a scooter. I called the dealer for a price today. He will get back to me. It sounds like your happy the way your te310 runs now.

I found another tuning kit for the te310. Part # 8000h2002 it comes with a ecu and a short db killer for orignal mufler. It a shame to change compleat mufler when the one that comes with the bike looks pretty free flowing.

I guess I don't get it. Why does the stock ECU need tuning with I-Beat and this is plug and play? I'm new to the TE310 site, but there seems to be a lot of conflicting info. Is this a new version of the ECU for the 310? So it has nice transition from low RPM, no bogging, no surging? Inquiring minds want to know.

The te310 comes way to lean. You can richen it up with I-Beat. I have mine runing pritty good.I ordered the close corse ecu and pull out sa. comes with short db killer. I will report how good it is once i get it and try it.

Good. Like I said, I'm new to this site and the 310 but it looks like setting the fb 1,2,3 to 117,107,100 is a good base setting. My bike (ex Rick Ramsey's bike) has the long db killer in it,and honestly I wouldn't want it any louder. I think I read that the short db killer is pretty loud, but I could be wrong. With the longer db killer, maybe I should go a little lower on the fb settings? Also, I haven't read the I Beat instructions yet, but does the O2 sensor have to be installed or should it be out?

I was wrong. They are co settings. Once you by pass the o2 sensor you adjust the co settings. I don't think I-Beat 1 can adjust co settings. Maybe semco Designs could sell you just the disc I beat 2.0. Those settings might not work for you because you have the db killer in.

Did some tuning on my new to me (1100mi) 09 TE310. It has the LAMDA sensor plugged in, and the exhaust diffuser (DB killer 8000H0827) installed. Other 'power up' mods done. It came with iBeat v1. Bike did not run so good. Power down low was weak, didn't respond well until 8000 rpm, etc. Hooked up iBeat. FB1 was 113, FB2&3 were 100. Changed FB1 to 108..Better! FB1 to 103..Terrible. FB1 110..Very good! Messed around with 108 to 111, and I think 111 is the best. Very good power, nice response and very even pull through the RPM range..I'm new to this FI tuning stuff, but this was pretty easy and the result was great. Spark plug looks good. I may mess with it some more in the Spring, but for now I'm a happy camper. I'm just an old trail rider that has some racing experience, but honestly, from my experience today, I don't think I'm gonna pull the Lamda sensor. This thing had plenty of spirit. Won't know how it does in the trails until Spring.

The o2 sensor does not need to be installed on the 09 model. With it unplugged you can not change 1,2 and 3 in the o2 section on the I Beat. You change them in the fuel table. Using I Beat 2

Expand a bit please. I assume more power, but does it run cleanly when it's cold. I still have the O2 sensor in and when fully warmed up it runs good. I had FB1=111, which I thought was good, but went riding Sunday in 15F weather and it took a long time to run clean. Is this normal for these FI bikes to not run good until warmed up? I'm still messing with iBeat and set FB1=114. That seems better when cold. We'll find out more tomorrow. More Winter riding. Oh, BTW, with it as is now, it will pull away cleanly from a walking pace in 4TH gear!

Just to follow up on this, FB1=114 seems to work very good for my setup. I may tinker with it a bit more, but only by .1's. Put on 30 miles on rocky trails covered with 6-10 inches of snow. Averaged 26 MPG in what has to be the worst conditions for gas mileage. I LIKE this bike!! :D
