Hi guys . I feel like I made a huge mistake . I recently purchased a 13 terra with 3700 miles on it . It was hard to start and had a dead spot between 3 and 4K rpm . The PO did a uni filter and Leo exhaust system so I assumed it just needed remapped like my Ktm 990 . After doing research it seems to me that the ECU has issues . I’ve called all my local KTM , BMW , and husky dealers and all of them told me they don’t do updates or have abandon the TR lineup . I emailed cooperate and they sent me a sorry talk to your local dealer message . Does anyone know how or where I can get my ECU updated ? Thanks
do you know if the ECU recall update has been done? Any KTM dealer should be able (but maybe not willing) to handle it. That update followed by proper rebuild of the adaption settings should solve all ECU related issues. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2016/RCLRPT-16V124-1258.PDF

Mesjr, I live in Leavenworth. I would be happy to take a look at your bike to see if we can mess with it. I have done a lot of mods to mine and have over 10K trouble free miles now without messing with the ECU. I will be at Blip Coffee shop tomorrow at 9 AM for coffee, motorcycle meetup, and ride. PM me if you wanna meet up with us!
You may have to send the ecu yourself. Contact Magneti Marelli Michigan Or Call NHTSA directly, seeking safety advice. edit: check post #314 from mag00, instructions http://www.cafehusky.com/threads/usa-recall.83404/page-16
