how many watts will the 08 610 electrical system safely power in heated gear? say a jacket to start with 77 watts 6.4 amps. would I overload something?
I believe it has a 340w stator - which is pretty sweet. FI and lights take up some...but you should have plenty left to run some heated gear. I've got a GPS, heated grips and heated jacket and run them with no issues. I also installed a $15 led bulb in the taillight to get back a few watts.
