You mean a skid plate? I like the Hyde Racing polymer because it's lightweight, but there are several other aluminum options out there.

Hyde are the way to go IMHO - light, do not amplify engine noise and glide over stuff due to poly construct. Easy to fit and indestructible.
Only quirk was that I needed to cut a small notch near the rear for the shift arm, I believe it's a bit lower on the 630 than the 610. I also drilled an additional drain hole at the low left point, the lowest point when it's on the side stand. I can have it off in about 2 minutes for an oil change.
