I have an auto engine with the number 2079 ****, is it a 79 390? The various web sites for engine numbers do not cover this number:excuseme:

Huskyclub's ID page seems to suggest it's off an '81 250CR which seems spurious (no 250 auto and I'm sure you can see the difference between a 250 and 390 cylinder).

The closest I can see in the parts manuals is "2077" for a 1980 390ACC

    Could it be 2077?

    Cheers
    Lucien

I need to start drinking so I can have something to blame! All I need know is a rolling chassis to go with the engine ,oh and a kick start shaft.
