engine stalling

hi guys. i own a 08 510 smr. bought this bike not long ago and having this problem. When i am riding on the highway, the bike will stall and the neutral light will blink which shows that it is a FI problem. After awhile the bike is able to start up again and run as usual. but due to the sudden stalling, it post a danger to me. I was wondering if it was the fuel sensor going out of place as you guys have mentioned to do the mod to the fuel pump. however, the petrol level at the time that such incident occurs is when the tank is ard 3/4 full or at least more than half filled. any opinion ppl ? will be bring my bike down to the mech later this week. but would like to know what are the possible problems so that i can make sure that i check everything. thanks.
