Got tired of working on engines on 2X4's and such. OTC has this adjustable work holder. Fabbed up a stand for it. Holds cases flat for case assemble and then put the angles on it for vertical work. Dont mind my messy workbench.

Nice. Looks like something someone witht he shift drum and crank on thier work bench might have a need for. The circular saw blade has me worried though. :p

Dang it,:banghead: I though that engine was a little light, spare parts! Barrel for that 250 on the stand is suppose to be done today (machine shop) then start on my 500 engine. I have three engines to do this winter. 84 WR250, just about done. 500 for my Silver Streak replica. 82 250XC restification. I'm very curious of the 430 cranked 250 Scoot brought up, ends up a 300! I want to build one:thumbsup:

I have most everything to build one so I'm looking forward to it. Probably try it out in my 82 CR250 chassis. Have a set of V-Force reeds and a Ashe pipe for it also. Man I love Husky's being all the same so you can bolt all CC's in the same chassis.

    Hi,
The OTC work holder you are showing is perfect for what I need. Can't seem to locate it on the OTC site, probably just overlooking it. Do you have a part number or know where I can purchase one?
...and are you making any of your support stands for purchase?
Thanks & Happy New Year and safe riding! - Mike

I have a hard copy of the catalog at work, I'll look tomm. As for the stand I will see if one of my welding students is interested in making one. I teach welding at the Comm. College.

The OTC part number is 7020, they call it a bench mounted holding fixture.
