Hi there. I`m the proud owner of a 2011 SM 630 with 7200km on the clock. A few weeks ago the netral lamp started to blink, 3 fast and one long, 3 fast and one long.. and so on. Checked the manual, and it says the temp senson for coolant is reading wrong values, called the importer in Norway, which confirmed the issue. On top of that, the bike was really difficult to start at cold, but ran well when warm. Now I have installed a new tempsensor, but the blink`s still there - really annoying, because it`s now not possible to see if the new is mailfunction or operating as it should. ( Bike started on first attempt this morning in +3deg centigrade ) Any hint on to how to get rid of the error code? buy software ( from where ?) and plug it to a PC, disconnect the battery or ...???
Mine started blinking as soon as the p/u kit was installed. Got a load of help from the forum ... but nothing seemed to work. My local Husky shop told me to just get used to it blinking, but I wish I could do something to make it stop. PS DonĀ“t have any other probs. It starts in cold and hot weather without using the start lever.
Hi there, I hav e checked furter on this issue - and from what I have been told, they need to connect the bike to a PC and delete the fault code, re-set it so to speak. Just changing the sensor will not remove the blinking... The bike is to be stored sfor winter shortly, during the winter storage I have ordered a full service, including re-setting the fault issue.
