I was told 1 year. What does that cover, anybody have it in writing? So I took a peek into my manual that came with the bike. "Your new bike is guaranteed free from original defects in compliance with EC Rule 99/44." I have no idea, but found this site http://www.acc.com/legalresources/quickcounsel/socgaagiteu.cfm There is some indication that we have a 2 year warranty, but in another part of this they say the warranty can be shorter but should be presented to the buyer such details. Being we are in the USA, we might not fall under this Rule. Anybody have a clarification?
Husqvarna does. US bikes are warrantied from 1 year of when your dealer registered the sale with Husky. Euro/rest of the world bikes I believe have a 2 year warranty. Their bikes cost more than ours did and this is as a direct result, well that plus other extraneous factors such as import taxes etc. Warranties are not free and are factored in the price of the bike. True story!!
Mine was one year factory...I felt like an idiot for paying for the additional two year dealer warranty/maintenance plan at Grand Prix Motorsports in Colorado, that is until I saw what the valve adjustment procedure looks like...
