exhaust pipe, what is it made of?

What is the material of my exhaust pipe where it bolts on to the muffler? I have a Husky 2011 630 SMS

Stainless, probably 304 or 321

He's technically correct, just not terribly helpful. Just teasing Stanimal. It is metal, insofar as steel, aluminum, Ti, etc. are all metals.

I'm pretty sure the mid pipe is stainless and the muffler aluminum.

The cans are aluminium and the pipes seem to be stainless .

Check out the de-catting thread...pretty cool. I've got almost 6K miles on gutted stock cans, just love 'em.
The aluminum re-rivets have held up just fine. Only broke a couple on a hard lay over last year. Just replaced 'em with new ones.
It's still quiet and they run cool with straight perf pipe inside.
