Sorry if this is a repost - didn't see it anywhere.

It's winter in the American Midwest, so I thought I'd tear down/inspect the chassis on my '15 Te300. It was brand new a year ago. All the bearings/bushings/races looked good, but the grease they used at the factory seemed awfully light/thin. This is true of the steering head as well as the swingarm/linkage.

If you've got a new one and some time, you may want to repack the bearings before abusing it. I had one season on mine and I don't think I would have wanted to wait two seasons to repack.

I went through mine and checked every nut and bolt after about five hours. Checked every nut and bolt cause I noticed my back axle wasn't very tight (put a rock through the stock at81 and tore it wide open in the first five hours). After that I tore it down and checked and regreased everything. Hardly any grease in the steering head. I put mine through a lot of water so I regrease everything frequently. Same bike 15 TE300
