I did a search and couldn't find any earlier info on the Fastway pegs, so...

I installed the fastway pegs on my TR650 today and they work fine. I used part #22-3-603 which is indicated for 93-12 F650-1200 GS & 04-11 V-strom. The springs won't work without a tweak as the frame-mounted peg bracket of the TR650 is taller than the inside spring tang length, so a hole needs to be drilled in the bracket to accept one end of the spring (which is snipped to fit). Mebbe there are springs out there that will work as is...but the mod is not a deal-breaker. This kit came with both the 10 and 12mm cleats included.

Just put some on this weekend actually. I had some laying around from a GS and the went on without drilling but I did have to shave the top of the mount so that they would fold just about all the way up.

I was curious why Toyboy's fastways fit without having to drill holes and slightly modify the springs - and as my installation sucked ergo-wise (too far back and down on the shifter side for my liking), I decided to mount the fastways higher and further forward. For those who aren't familiar with fastway pegs, they have a pin-bushing that can be reversed to reposition the pegs either high and forward or lower and more rearward.
Anyhoo...when I mounted the pegs in the forward position and reversed the springs (previous left side to right side, etc.) the springs worked without modification.
LOL...unfortunately, the small part of the fastway peg that bears the weight against the Terra frame only had a small fraction of the contact patch making contact. Not acceptable to me, and not worth the time to do a fix mod IMO.
So, I'm back with my stock pegs.

    Tom,
Not sure I understand your problem. Will get some close ups and post for you if you like. I believe mine were off of a 1200GS I had, used those springs etc. As I mentioned, I had to shave the top of the footpeg mount to get the pegs to fold up enough. THx

The difference is probably the Fastway kit vs what you have. I've installed fastways on other bikes, and this kit works fine with drilling a hole for the springs provided in the rearward position, and for the frontward position the springs work "as is" but the adjustable bolt that determines peg height and bears the weight does not line up well with anything directly on the bike. I referenced the kit # earlier so people who might be interested in that fastway kit may understand the issues involved.

THx, I think I understand what you mean now. My adj height bolt is striking in the middle and has plenty of plate to push against etc. Oddly enough I have another set here that is different and did not bolt right up as these did. Wish I knew exactly what I got them off of. Thx

Fastway evolution air....in red look great. The #400 collar works with one small 3/64 inch washer on top of collar running the pegs in standard position which is 1/4 inch lower than stock. The spring is a 1/8 inch short to top of flange ...just grind, saw drill hole to low spring. Easy

The shifter side canting bolt is flat on bike flange perfect...on brake side the brake switch bolt and peg canting bolt hit...but it is face to face...and enough purchase. These are top shelf pegs. And are working great!

If you call promotobillet Brett can send you the right collar , it is a bmw # for the collar length. Just the flange that the spring sits on needs a little mod

    This may help.....pic

These are good footpegs but if you use the grubscrews, they mess up your boot sole especially the gear changing one
