    So I bought new15 fc450 primarily to use on snow .come spring when tires go on would it last if I geared it faster so revs be lower and plated used as my commute bike 19 miles one way ?

    I'm sure it would last, as long as those 19 miles aren't highway. Just keep up on oil changes.

    Road harmonics will reduce motor life. Vary throttle and you will be fine as long as you don't vary throttle near the red line.
