Does anyone ride their FE350 with the stock mapping? The dealer said he really didn't think it needed mapped (Top service tech). I don't find anything wrong with it in stock form but was just curious if anyone left it alone.

If your happy, leave it alone and ride the wheels off. Rumor is, the 2015 non s models base map is very good as is.

MY2015 models cannot be remapped, S or non-S. The powercommander 5 has been very popular with this bike. Stock mapping is okay with stock exhaust. Some of the KTM programming is switched off. Aftermarket silencer and pcv will yield about 4 hp and better throttle response from the bottom up.

This is kind of my thinking too. The only thing I could think of is if a richer map would help it run a little cooler or something. Two of my riding buddies have 2014 xcw's (450/500) and both ran pretty crappy (anemic) until they had the Euro map done.

Does the Trail Tech switch require remapping with a Euro map (uk bike) or plug straight in and it works?
