BTW the Carb is a Mikuni TMX 38. Today I did have a slight flat spot down low ......just gotta stay high on the MJ-- no problemo.
Mikuni TMX38 with V Force 3, Thunder products torque wing, twinair air filter, maxima FFT, Pro Circuit Platinum with shorty 304 silencer, steahly 9oz flywheel weight all else is OEM, OK piston is a wiseco forged.

Looks like you are having fun . Sounds good - Yz 125s run good eh.
Have you ridden an alloy frame ? I am wondering if its better to have the steel frame for trails . I had a road registered Yz125WR - 2003 a while back and then a 2014 and a 2011.
I think I liked the steel frame more than alloy as well.
That 03 motor flew - it had some porting work done . I don't know what the previous owner did but it went very well.

I wanted the CrMo chassis YZ it's such a nice chassis. the little demon really rips, I think my build extras, V force reed, 9oz FWW and Torque wing help smooth the thing out nicely.

As for the KX125. it's in process, no hurries, no worries, it's low priority, its pretty much disassembled and boxed and I have all the parts to put it back together after I clean up the old stuff.

Warp speed on the screaming zinger and what looks to be a perfect day in the dirty waffle. Too bad they can't use those trails for races down there...or can they?

we will never see a race there.....we did however have a local race back in 2000 at the somewhat nearby very fun corral canyon ohv area, a time keeper enduro.
I don't think there has ever been a moto race there since (many Mtn bike events but no moto).
Just thinking about it made me laugh I had no clue what to do except go as fast as could through the tests, the best I did was accidently start 1 minute late on a long test and zeroed that test, my time was very close to the fast guy OA, most others I burned badly because the org had set very slick hidden checks and resets....I was and am still relatively clueless about time keeping...I can barely ride and think anyway.
