I just did my first oil change on my 10 te250. Now I have a slight seeping from the oil cover. I removed the cover a second time and cleaned the edges of the cover / case as well wiped down the O ring and still a leak. I saw no sign any damage either on any part.

Short of a new O ring should I have put any thing on the existing O ring first? Also, any idea of what the torque is on the 3ea 8mm cover bolts?

    Thanks

Not sure about the torque, but it doesn't take much to stop a leak. Just make sure you put the bolts back in the holes they came out of. If I'm not mistaken, they are different lengths. Mine has been sitting all winter, so it's been a while since I did the oil before putting it up. Otherwise, you might need a new o-ring.

I also had a small leak. I put it down to overfilling...
