Floating rear disk

    What is the floating rear disk all about? Other makes use the same Brembo kit but the disk is solid. Mine makes one hell of a racket...

    A floating disc can take huge heat cycles and not warp. If you take measures to try and solidify the disc to the hub you will largely negate its functionality. I doubt seriously you can hear it while riding?

    you can hear it once it gets a bit loose,but i have never boiled the fluid

    Loosen the mounting bolts and rotate the mounting bushings they just get worn and alow the disc to rattle more. Later George

    Hear it while adjusting and lubing the chain but not while riding or racing.. Thanks for the tip George as time wears on..
