My new FMF silencer just arrived. It doesn't have a rubber mount just a small bolt hole. Do you just bolt these things solid onto the subframe? Would the vibration not damage the subframe tab? What do you guys do - use a rubber washer when you mount them up? Thanks for any pointers.

I've used several of their silencers over the years and never had a problem. I think they use that solid mount because of the slip-fit. Many times they do away with the stock springs and this would make a solid mount important. I always use hi temp silicone at the joint too.
