Can anyone confirm this will work with the stock pipe?
    The part number is 025012.
    I'm looking for a closed course/moto silencer.
Any reviews or pics would be appreciated

After the phone call I got yesterday I hate to go here, but that should fit your bike. It's actually for the WR250, as I'm sure you know, but it should work on a 300 with the stock pipe.

PC is spec'ing the same parts numbers for the 250 / 300.

if you change the silencer, do you have to tweak you jet settings?

    You shouldn't need to rejet.

    FMF website shows CR/WR250 '00-'06

Yea but they are making a 300 specific pipe right?
Do they spec the 250 silencers for that pipe?

PC made a 'new' pipe to replace the WR250 pipe they sold through the 2008 model year. The new pipe was designed and sold for both the 250 and 300 as a combo pipe. I spoke to 2 PC employees and was told the same thing.... it is not the same stamping as the previous WR250 pipe.

I bought one for my 300.
Pretty mild pipe. Shifts the power lower into the spread, but feels like it pulls the gears forever cause of the softer delivery. Not a hint of a hit anywhere.

Some will like it and some will not.

    So they all interchange, right?
I can use the FMF silencer with the stock pipe or even the Procircuit?

Pro circuit silencer must be used on the PC pipe. Not sure about the FMF, but I have an FMF TCII on my YZ and it uses the stock pipe.

FMF seems to play nice with others. Not sure about PC though :excuseme:

    It fit right up

Big weight savings, the end cap-S/A of the stocker must be made of lead.

Sounds the same as stock

Thanks for posting that, Flyin. Good to know we have an option. So the sparky version should fit up too...wonder if that'll be longer.

Nice. That should save you a few lbs!

You might even feel a little more snap from the bottom now.
Very cool that it fits the stock pipe!

That was awesome! Your buddy held tough and got the footage of the bike just getting hammered :applause:

That was a pretty extreme wheelie for some bark dust. You guys know how to throw down :notworthy:
