My search for some Husky fork guard decals has not been very successful. So, I decided to try out the can of red plasti-dip that's been sitting on the shelf for awhile. This is just a rough draft to see if the color matches and see if I would even like it. I put several coats of the red followed up by several coats of the clear. The color match is almost dead on! I'll wait and see how well it holds up and then take off the guards and paint the entire thing.
The color of your front socks really match with the red of the tank, my complements for that. Color is a matter of taste, I personally like the Strada black with white, but who am I to say what you like. I however ask myself this question, it looks that you do not ride on your red Husky, there is absolutely not any dirt or sand to see. Are you waiting to put yours in the museum ? It is a little far but I would like to hire you to clean mine . Regards, John
Haha. I've only had the bike a couple weeks so I haven't had much time to get her dirty yet. I agree with the color comment. I'd like to incorporate red and white. That will be version two.
Red seems to be a color of choice for you. See the red car in the background with red calipers. The plasti dip looks good. Plus when you scratch it just peel it off.
