Getting ready to do my fork seals on this 09 300 with 50mm Shivers....whats the oil height? normal like a KYB? 100mm... seems like my 04 TE250 was 110mm...

I'm fat and run 110mm from the top. I think stock is 130.

Stock is 110 or 120mm I think. I set mine at 130 and used 5 weight + make sure to clean the hard assembly grease from around the valving. I helped the harsh mid quite a bit by doing this but I'm still planning to send them off for a revalve soon. You can always add 5cc at a time back through the air bleeder if it's too mushy for your liking.

Remember, less oil means more air in the fork... Air is compressible so it cushions the ride ...

My fork stacks are set a little hard because I ride both MX and trails ... So I kept on lowering the oil amount till they got much softer on the trails ...
