one of my 35mm forks has very little rebound damping. when i take the springs out it has resistance both ways, although a little light compared to the other fork.

these are 1979 390 auto husqvarna forks.

i'm assuming a seal on the damping rod is bad - i haven't taken it apart yet. the fiche just shows part 25 (15 12 258-01) - is this a seal or plastic washer? is that all there is at the bottom of the damping rod - i guess i'm just asking which parts i should order to freshen up the damping rod..

took it apart. broken damper rod plastic sealing band. i'm assuming it's part #151225801

now to find a pair to fix it..might as well replace the one in the other fork too..
