Next on the list of upgrades for my 1998 cr125 are the forks, I've sourced some upside down standard forks of a 2004 model, does anyone know if these will fit str8 on or do I have to change the front wheel as well or anything else??

Hey, I have a set of inverted 45mm Zokes , triples and all off of a 99/2000 cr125 if you are interested. I bought them for a project that never materialized.

98 an 99 are almost identical
98 has conventional forks on the WR models and the decals are a different color

    o
they can fit but you need to do a couple things, if you want to use your front wheel change the bearings as the axle in the 2004 is fatter, trying to remember what was different about the brakes an if memory serves the caliper adaptor is fork specific so you need a caliper mount and wheel bearing and if the forks did not have an axle you will need that too
on the bearings you need the spacers too

thanks premo, im going to try and get the front wheel with the forks so hopefully ill just need a calliper adaptor at most!!!

being a 1998 cr that's gonna trake me months to find :banghead:

if you have the same brand forks your adaptor should work
does you 98 have inverted Zokes

I believe the caliper should bolt up from the 98 to 2004.
