I havnt purchased yet but I found a 2012 te 511 with 9 miles on it, owner says he had no time to ride (older fellow). Says the bike is brand new no blemishes what so ever! His asking price is $4950, is this a good deal? I would likely put supermoto wheels on the bike aswell, is there any concerns about sumo'ing these bikes? Thank you, Matt
The 511 is a bike either people love or hate. I own one and am working thru the issues of ownership. Truthfully I love my txc 511 and really dont understand the disdain some have. For sure the suspension needs to be dialed in. Once you get it you will see it is very good. VERY GOOD. The power commander 5 makes a difference but for your model and 30 bucks you can have a huge improvement in performance with TinKens map 3 flash. I think its a good deal. I payed 3950 for mine with similar low hours but that was a once in a lifetime find I think. Id say buy it. Fantastic machines.
