What is everyone doing for frame guards on their 2 strokes?

Specifically, WR models from '07 back. I've always had issues but now it is carving up my new boots. At this rate they won't last the rest of the season!

I bet the 07 TE250 ones would work...

Ad tek products from the UK. Make sure you call, I didn't have much luck through email. Huskysport would probably carry it also.

The guards on my WR300 are by Acerbis. However, I've been told they no longer make this type.

Krieg - Where did you get your guards? I'd love to have a set of those on my WR! Are they designed by Acerbis to fit the WR? Thanks, Brad.

I actually picked them up when I bought the bike from Gerald Jones at Upstate Cycle. Since then however, two other forum members have asked me about them and tried to locate a set in the US and have had no luck. Gerald mentioned that they were New Old Stock in his store and we kinda just stumbled on them while he was setting up my bike.

Well that stinks. Having the paint rubbed off the frame bugs the crap out of me, I may have to try and make something myself. Brad.

Has anyone tried CRD? I had some aluminum ones from them several bikes ago, maybe on my 06?

Did anyone ever try the plastic guards from the 05-07 TE on their WR? Motoplastics US has them for $15 and the fit does look similar.

BBAOffroad.com are the only ones. I have already done an exhaustive search. HOWEVER, the ones at BBA are awesome and the cust service is exceptional. Simply send an email to their cust service and they will get back within a day. Mine shipped to Seattle where 145$ and arrived in 5 days. Prices was slightly steep but I really really wanted them too. I would definately buy from them again if I cant find something needed in the states.

Hey guys! Purchased the above OEM '07 TE 250 Frame guards hoping they would fit my '06 WR 250; they didn't. Brake side fits great after I trimmed a couple inches off but the shifter side is completely off. The sub frame mount for the TE is about 2" taller on the frame and the frame angle is a little different. I just trimmed it a bit to fit flush and then just safety wired it on. Doesn't look as great but it's better than no guards at all!
