    Whats your single track, hard riding front brake finger setup? Im starting to use my middle finger only.....just wondering what others do.

    I have small hands so three fingers usually cover the brake, with pressure on two.

    I'm too un-coordinated to use only a middle finger. I usually use the first two or just my index finger.

    It depends on what bike I'm riding. I usually use 3 on my KTM, as it just seems to need a little more beef to get it reined in. I usually use 2 on my SV650 and the 610, or even 1 when I'm in the dirt, and I found myself subconsciously using only 1 finger (index) when on the WR125 the last time I rode it. I usually use 2 in the dirt, but I noticed halfway through the day that my index finger was a little tender (I've torn the tendon in that finger before) and then realized it was because I was only using that 1 finger. That's all it really takes on the tiny 125 :)

    Index only. Been that way on all my bikes specially Trials.

    Those front brakes on the 125... you just have to breath on it.:D

    Lots of stopping power there.:lol::lol:

    index finger only. I bleed mine often and with a mity-vac so they are super touchy. I like being able to use just one finger.

    I'm another "index finger only" guy and I pretty much leave my index finger resting on the front brake 100% of the time when in the woods or on the street. IMO it's a very good habit for speeding up reaction time. It also makes it harder to accidentally lock up the front wheel during panic braking.

    When my brakes are bled properly and working right (not now) I usually use just my index. With my front disc being a little tweaked and feeling like ABS I need about three fingers to squeeze tight enough to brake.

    Ya I forgot to add that too.:thumbsup: Very good habit. IMHO.
