My OEM front brake line has seen better days so I'd like to replace it with an aftermarket one. Has anyone been down this road already and recommend a brand and length?
Galfer and EBC make very good brake lines. I would recommend measuring what you have and possibly adding an inch or two if you plan to lift the bars or anything--I wish I had slightly longer brake lines after adding bar risers. You could also call a dealer like Halls for the length... I live in NC, and still read out to them even though they are halfway across the country. They tend to be extremely helpful with parts.
If you have a hydraulic shop in town just have them make you one. Thats the route i went when i did my fork swap. Was about $45 for a red one. Just bring the old one in, if you want it longer let them know. if you want to get it from somewhere else, spiegler is hands down imo the best brake line company. Lifetime warranty.
