Does anybody know what the electrical cable to the front brake caliper is for ( if there is a thread about this already, which one ) No ABS on these bikes Brake pad wear indicator maybe? The workshop manual shows the cable but I can't find any reference to it.
Speedo ? That's electronic isn't it, and there doesn't seem to be anything like an ABS disc for the pickup to read off.
It is the speedo pickup, there's a magnet on the brake disc, the sensor only takes one reading per wheel revolution (that's why the speedo takes so long to update)
