I noticed you market front CS sprockets on your website and am wondeirng whay type they are? With all the recent discussion on the CS sprocket and output shaft fit I'm wondering if what you sell fits tighter than the stocky Husky product? Also are the brake pads you sell OEM or aftermarket? Lastly, do you have any photos of the 610 skid plate you sell on a bike? thanks,
Fast1, I just purchased and installed an CS sprocket (13T) from Motorsportz and can attest that it definitely fits snugly on the splines. Zero radial and axial play once installed. Stock sprocket had developed some radial play and out of concern for that I replaced it. CS splines did not appear to have any discernible wear, although I didn't mic anything for numbers. Also, I didn't inspect the OEM sprocket when new to see how much play there was, if any. The new sprocket doesn't have lightening holes drilled through it between the splined opening and the teeth. It's completely solid. The snap ring just barely engaged in the groove, keeping axial play essentially zero. HTH
(off topic) Going slowly, found lots of problems inspecting these things. Big stuff. ETA hopefully NEXT week. Can't believe they expected us to fly across the continent with this crap in winter wx. (On topic now) Fast 1, is your CS sprocket getting play or just worn out from all those miles?
I've got three that are all worn out.. 13, 14 and 15. I've purchased a new 13 but thought I might try a non-factory 15 for curiosity on the fit issue. The teeth on my old worn CS sprockets are curled waves... Knock Knock... is Mr. Motorsportz in the house??
Brakes are after market, a couple brands. Same with CS sprockets. All the rears are Sprocket Specialties. Skid plate, simple, strong, effective. Change oil and filter without removing...
thanks for the photos... which brand CS sprocket do you market that fits with the least movement on the ouput shaft? How do you specify that brand when ordering?
