Hi, I bought a new Husky Strada and I'm very happy with this machine. I had a scooter before the Husky and the difference is amazing. The only thing I don't like is the front fender, I would prefer a higher one. I found this front fender in internet and I think it's prettiest one. If anybody knows how can I get it or have another fender similar I would be very grateful. Thank you! Gassss
Hey mate, This one has come up before. Don't think we ever worked out what sort of fender it is in that photo. Probably a one-off produced for the display bike.
And while we're at it I'd love to get hold of a seat (or modify the stock seat) like the one on the concept version of the Strada: http://mattomoto.smugmug.com/Other/motorcycles/i-CRFqNpg/0/L/conceptStrada4-L.jpg
Not sure what was bantered before, but that sure looks like a stock TE630 fender with some stickers and maybe some black paint on the back section to me.
Almost 100% sure its a front tip off a SMR 511. Part number: 800H5040 - Front mudguard tip Price: approximately 10 euros here
yeees sir!! it seems to be this fender. Thank you very much. if anybody has this fender installed tell us please...!!
This is the result of installing the SMR 511 front fender. I'm very happy with the improvement. Thank you Cyntax for your help.
I've also installed the SMR 511 front fender on my Terra for those who wonder how it looks like because I've only seen them on the TR650 with alloy wheels before.
I couldn't find out what it was, sorry guys, but you found it (Thought it was Zupin custom, because the guards at the bars are. ) It helps the bikes face sooo much! Nice looking bikes lads!
Remember to get the back fender as well, otherwise the radiator is going to last for a very, very short time.
No doubt, those are the best looking. But for street bikes, it is good to have a low front fender that you can hang mudflaps (as close to the ground as you can) from to prevent flats. The front tire stands a bent nail, that is laying flat on the road, up on the bent edge, and the rear runs over it (well over 95% of flats are on the rear.) Since I have run with mudflaps, I have not had a flat unless I ride past the edge of the sides of the road (being stupid in a hurry.) There is random chance and charmed lives involved here too, but I just thought it was a relevant issue for the street bikes anyway. If you get 3 flats in a row in a few weeks time, you don't know what is going on. Dealers know this and they love high front fenders (with a big grin on their face.) ymmv. Of course, I'd replace those odd Strada front fenders too, but instead with some nice front-full fender with mudlaps on them. But if you have the time and money, or are very lucky, never mind.
