    does anyone here know how to lower the front end of a 76 wr250?this is bieng built as street tracker.

    I would suggest shorter dampening rods. Be advised cutting/shortening the springs will make them a whole lot stiffer. Fewer active coils.

    If you have a local spring shop you can work with, another way to lower the front is to have top-out springs made for the damping rods, and have the main springs cut shorter by the same amount. If you brought the main springs and damping rods to a competent spring builder and told him what you wanted to do, it would be a "routine" job for a good spring guy.
