My co-worker comes by and says, "Well, at least I know nobody vandalized your bike." What?! He went out for lunch and found 1 of my yellow front fork side marker reflectors laying on the ground. When he got back from lunch, he found the other side laying on the ground. Both front fork side markers just fell off from the heat, apparently. Anyone else have this happen? I found some 3M super molding tape at Autozone and cleaned off the old stuff from the markers and the forks real good. Put the markers back on with the 3M stuff. Hopefully that tape is better than the original stuff.
When my local dealer got their first Terra demo bike in, I was the first person to take it for a ride. About 1 mile from the shop one of the front reflectors fell off. I have been meaning to take them off my bike. I don't see any point to them.
111° here....both markers were laying on the ground next to the bike. Eh, I was thinking of removing them anyways
Is this an obligation in US for new bikes to have those markers ? I got them separately, being told not to bother about them at all.
Dang, all the hassle I went through to pull mine off the WR300, and get all the adhesive off, and your's just fall off? AGH! I don't mind the extra visibility on the road, but why oh why they put them on a full on dirt bike? I have no idea.
