I s anyone running a trials tire on the front?I'am currently running a Pirelli MT 43 on the rear of my wr 300 and are happy with the results.I currently run the Bridgestone ed78 knobby on the front and was wondering if it is worth it to run a trials tire up front?

I ran a 803 up front once on my 08 TXC450. Was pretty good for trail riding but not robust enough for me and limited stopping power.

The front trials tires don't give enough stopping power in loose stuff. The rears seem to make more people happy than the fronts. I am always amazed at how well the rears perform. I wish someone would build a 3/4 trials 1/4 knobby tire. Cam.

I ran a couple of them, the benefit is not as noticeable as a rear trials tire and there are more downsides.

If you try the D803 front watch for sidewall cracking.

Watch out if you ride in any mud or wet grass! You will be on your ear if you even look at
that front brake!! They also pack with mud and will not turn very well.
    Been there done that...
    Good Luck!
