FS seal leak FYI

    My FS seal started leaking badly after a muddy trail ride a couple days ago ... you know the one where the area behind the sprocket is caked over with mud ... So I removed the sprocket and the small tin plate over the seal ... I then used a feeler gauge to clean the seal around the shaft in much the same way as cleaning the fork seals ...

    Guess what? It worked, no more leak ... I'm gonna remove it all again and pack some grease around the inside of the tin plate in an effort to keep dirt out ...

    No pics as my camera is busted ... I'll be letting some homeboy have a shot at fixing it soon ...
