Had a scary moment the other day. Was riding on the tarmac and the bike just ran out of fuel. Doing about 65kph. Not too bad except for the dirty great B Double cattle truck right behind me. My bike is supposed to have a fuel warning light on it. It didn't come on... Anyone else had a problem with theirs?:censored:

yes , the sensor is connected to a bracket in the fuel tank , it's part of the EFI pump , it breaks the weld and falls into the bottom of the tank , so it wont read empty until the tank is empty , cable tie it back into position or get a new pump under warranty as that part is part of the whole pump .

It's probably either the bracket is broken as described above or the fuel pump is loose and it couldn't use the last .5 gallons in the bottom of the tank. After it ran out, how much gas did you put in? About 1.9 gallons or 1.5 gallons? (That's US gallons. In liters, 7.2 liters or 5.7 liters?)
