My 800 mile 630 sms started leaking from what looks like the large O-ring that seals the fuel pump into the tank . Also , I am concerned that maybe its the fuel line where it connects into the assembly . Any of you guys had this issue come up before ? I ordered the large O-ring , but not sure if I should do more .
Common problem. Empty the tank, pull the pump out and clean up the seal and face on the tank. Mine had some sort of white powder between the gasket and the tank, as well as a small ridge in the tank plastic. You may have to get some fine sandpaper or scotch-brite to smooth it out. Clean it up, bolt it back together and check it.
I have a new seal ordered , but am more concerned about the fuel line being a problem. Hope it's just the seal.
