Has anybody fitted a G2 throttle tamer? I am looking for one but the company only lists 4 - stroke Huskys generally and when I e-mailed them to see if it fits a 630 they said they were unfamilliar with the model. If anyone has a G2 can you post the seriel number please.

    I fitted this one ... G2-40-300-Husq-4st ... to my 2009 510.
Sorry, I'm not certain of the similarities between the 510 and 630 throttle but likely is the same.

Yes. More control from idle to half throttle with the tamest cam (400). Good for tight trails, hillclimbs etc.
I've swapped the cams back and forth (stock, 200 & 400) but always ended up with the 400 cam in.

I might want get a G-2 also. [IMG] she tried to kill me with her new shoes this weekend. The bikes fine, but wish I could say the same [IMG]. I think bad gas played a small part in it too. The bike would almost stall when I wack the throttle, then kick in when I was off balance and stand straight up and rocket me out of control. I should have quit after the 1st time I ended up in the woods. Drained the tank and all is good, except my MCL in my knee.

    Sounds very familiar...
First ride on my 510, I launched myself off the side of the trail into a big bog hole. I got lots of air time and came down head first into the mud.

Yes, my subframe should look symmetrical from this angle...

Three things I did after this:
    1. fixed previous owners dodgy carby mods
    2. bought a neck brace and knee guards
    Later on...
    3. Installed G2

A sub frame can be fixed quicker than a MCL tho.... I hope you heal up ok

Thanks! Let me know if your bike uses the same subframe as the 610. I have an extra I got in a package deal and don't need it. Just looking at it it looks the same, but part #s would verify that. Let me know. I gave a $275 or $300 for it. New, I think they go for $500 or $600
