I am debating how to mount my new 276c and wondered if anyone has used a Touratech mount on their 610 630 located so as to not block the stock instruments. I have the HDB top clamp and it appears that no matter which TT mount I use (flat, locking, or locking MvG) the stock instrument display will be at least partially obscured. That's not a big deal I suppose, but it would be nice to be able to see the idot lights on both sides.
How about using a handlebar clamp bolt ram ball with extra long arm (they have a lot of lengths)? They seem to have a bunch of base mounting options, too, besides the clamp bolt. http://www.ram-mount.com/EmptyPages.../motorcyclecomponents/tabid/3936/Default.aspx This is a shorty arm:
I got the Enduro Engineering Universal Mounting Bracket that mounts on the handlebar clamps. With the long bar I can mount the Touratech 276 mount and a route sheet holder. Does not block the speedo and easy to read when off the seat.
