I ripped my shoulder apart in May 2016 and have not been able to ride since. Put Liquid Performance ethanol equilizer in the gas and have started and ridden the bike around the block a few times. Today I decided to siphon the gas out which I got 95% of and top the tank off with fresh gas and Liquid Performance. I am thinking I will be ok until I can ride again. Any input would be appreciated

I would think so. I've been using startron religiously for a few years now, and all the problems I used to have with storing fuel has stopped. The only difference I have noticed when I siphoned the tanks to put fresh gas in was the older gas had a yellowish tent to it. My lawnmower and pressure washer have not acted any different. Even my sons 50 didn't act any different.

Ethanol-free fuels are generally good for about six months in a vented tank without stabilizers, and two years if sealed.

I prefer to leave my bike low or empty of fuel if I'm storing it. The tanks don't rust rust (obviously) but the real reason is I prefer to have fresh fuel in it when the time comes to ride. I run star-tron so the little bit of fuel left in the system is usually fine.

Less airspace in a fuel container, including the fuel tank, means significantly less/lower fuel spoilage.

Proper storage of a vehicle (any vehicle) would be to either a) completely remove all fuel from it, or b) completely fill the vehicle with fuel.

Heared that. Proper storage to me, even before ethanol, was always drain carb and tank as well as possible, add fresh fuel when ready and go!

Must be nice lol! Once the snow gets over a foot deep I'm pretty much done. We do have some indoor tracks but its elbow to elbow and I'm not much of an MX'er anymore.

Yeah, but it is nice to go back home and see what a change of season looks like. I know I won't last long out here. I see me heading back to America, especially if they pull this Calexit crap off. Then I'll be putting the steeds up for their winter rest.

I cant argue with the season changes. Fall riding is the absolute best. I even enjoy snow riding to some extent.

It's a month late here, so far, but it will eventually freeze and snow. I still ride and in recent years we get extended warm spells. Typically I go south a couple of hours to where is doesn't freeze much or snow at all.
