Gear indicator TE250 2008

    Hello,
    The wire is off on my gear indicator and I wonder if it's possible to open it up and solder it back in place?
    I see a little grooving on the unit but not sure if it's there it has been assembled, so does anyone know how to open up this sensor?

    Perhaps some heat will do the trick?

    I managed to fix it,
    There was a plastic cap that could be pealed off but it took a while.
    Under it the resistors where molded in expoxy but thre where a few mm cable visable where it was possible to scrape off isolation and solder a new cable on it - seems to work as per the ohm meter :)
