Anyone got pros and cons on Gearne Fastbacks or a recommendation of another. I'm looking for good ankle support and a boot with feel on the up-shifts. I wear a size 14 which seems to be more of a problem because of the bulk of the boot takes away from feel. I plan on getting a longer Hammerhead shifter to help with this but it starts with good boots.
I bought a pair when I was on a budget, very good boot for the money. They just don't last as long as the SG10 or Tech 8. I would say they have a little less support, so probably easier to shift.
I have a pair of Fastbacks and they have held up fairly well over the last year and a half. Support and comfort is pretty good. No complaints yet.
