but with the panel on you don't see it, but the downside to it now is the rest of the bike looks a scabby

See above post from motosportz. In every case I have seen its to space the silencer away from the tire arc when the suspension compresses...... depending on your tire width you find it out quickly after a few deep cycle compressions of the rear suspension. sometimes its just a rubber mark on the silencer sometimes its a slammer and worse on some bikes the brake caliper will tag the pipe and do a smash and dent....with CF its a smash and crack or shatter....take a pic in line directly from rear, usually you can visualize the tire arc line, or can use a straight edge or string to simulate and test for clearance---more is always better.

Its also to bad they did not utilize the other bracket. I greatly prefer the robustness of two hangers.

youre going to leave the sidepanel off so people see the silencer? its a dirtbike! as others have posted the spacer is to keep the silencer off the tire likely as the silencer is a universal fit...the chamber looks cool tho.

That cans so small i doubt the tyre will rub, but as kelly mentioned that ali block spacer should be on the otherside of the can support, did you change jetting or just stuck it and see like i suggested

Yeah, looks like a nice pipe except for the silencer. Looks to me like if the spacer was against the frame the pipe would hit the subframe.
Let's hear about how it runs and sounds ;)

I just stuck it on juicy, and after a bit of running about checking, some more running about and checking, everything is fine and dandy no jetting required.
And no I won't be riding it around without the side panel on, that would be plain bloody stupid!!
Totally agree with you on the double fixing, that would have been reassuring, as a little mishap occurred the first time I took it off-road, nothing serious

I love 2 25 :D but Geraint I know I sound pedantic [is that the word] but to potentially save you 100 quid and 3 points, your back l plate is illegal, it has to be legible from the vehicle behind, not aiming upwards, doesn't bother me just you know how some police can be, couple of guys at school on peds ended up getting 6 points on prov licence for their ''illegal'' l's, and that money could be used for the tests! Other than that it's great to see the bike I've heard about being used :D is it still using the oil pump/ tank under the seat?

most of them are, but I got a 50 quid fine for my road legal dep setup as the guy couldn't find the bsau stamp underneath, even though I pointed out it was specifically for the sms/wre and had passed it's mot, he was adamant it was illegal [until I took it off, found the thing he meant, ticket cancelled] and last night I got pulled, guy says I pulled you cos your numberplate is unreadable as it's unlit, I said sorry but I thought it was legal as it has a rear reflector on it, he says fair enough, you're right, going a bit quick there weren't you sunshine? I said what do you mean? He tried to get me to say I was speeding when I know I wasn't, then when he realised I wasn't going to admit to it he just told me to have a good night and drove off, dunno if he was just bored or what
