what is the deal on these in reeeal wet and muddy? Am hearing they are not that good in bad mud or much wetness/rain. I hear they work great in all other conditions and the dryer the better. Honest feedback Kelly

They work really, really, well. Yesterday was one of the nastiest races I have ever done and the worst of the year by far. There were bikes stuck in seat deep ruts and the "grass track" was like riding in a foot of oatmeal. Nasty nasty conditions, it was really fun though. The Traculas had a crazy amount of traction. A few times I ended up in one of those seat deep ruts, I was able to wheelie out of them not dig my pegs in and come to a stop. I had enough traction that when I hammered down hard in the ruts my seat was so muddy that I almost launched the bike out from under me a few times. They remind me of the traction of the terraflex and a much better all around tire.

Hopefully I will have some more pictures to post.

I put the enduro IT's on my brothers RMX to the test in the mud the previous weekend, they were less confidence inspiring but they didn't toss me on my head either. They broke loose early but slid predictably.

Always Bro. I was never in this to sell tires and I discount them and make little. I just like them so spreading the word. initially i had the same feelings, great intermediate / hard tire but not great in the mud. This was with the Tractionator X-cir and Enduro IT, both of which are marketed for intermediate. The Tracula, Terrapator and the new Enduro S/T are the ones you want for mud. Even the Tracula did not seem that great until you lower the pressure then it is fantastic. Seems like these tires like low pressures and do well with it. I am running 7 PSI rear which is WAY lower than my usual 12 but no pinch flats and crazy traction. The Tracula is wearing like iron and hooking up like crazy. The new Enduro S/T is supposed to be that much better.

I would suggest giving a Enduro S/T a try and see for yourself.

    Jmetteer,

I have a "Terrorflex" on a spare wheel for my 360 and the absolute fear of trying to get that thing off has it sitting in the corner for 2 years.

I have been using the Tracula for the last 3 weeks on my TXC 450 and absolutely love these tires.
The first race was a dry but not dusty open terrain race with a mix of roots, rocks, grass track, etc. The tire was very predictable and showed very little wear. I would defiantly use this tire for this type of race again.
The following week I rode around where I live. The soil is a mix of clay with grease on top and exposed roots. Nothing without a track and 20,000 pound works in this area, nothing.
This last weekend I raced in the most brutal race of the season. The mud holes, mud fields, mud ruts, mud mountains, mud etc, were demoralizing and too much for many racers. I believe that tire choice was critical and the Tracula really worked exceptionally well in this condition. I was moving freaking cubic yards of mud with this tire. There was more than one instance where I unintentionally ran into someone stuck in a bike swallowing rut and would be completely stopped. I never had any problem getting traction and being able to continue moving forward after I helped remove the obstacle with crappy tires.
I highly recommend these tires to anyone not running in the same class as me. I would also highly recomend these tires for any one riding in muddy conditions.

Run 5-7 psi and hold on:thumbsup:

While it looks 'not good' on level ground I could not imagine what hills would be like - especially down hill

Luckily for us there was only about 50' of elevation change on this course.

I just mounted a tracula front on my bike and did a little ride up at Mendocino Natl forest today.
Rained real good up there over the last 24 hrs, perfect slimy /slick steep mountainous conditions for checking out tires.
Took it easy at first, ground was still frozen & slick. As the day wore on and conditions thawed, I started pushing- that tire is the Schiznit!!
I was deliberately cross rutting on snotty downhills trying to get it to break loose- no dice- that tire crossed over the ruts, grabbed the other side & kept it's grip no matter what.

Thanks Kelly for the speedy shipment, GREAT stuff!
