2007 TE.. I put a clamp on there to stop it from going too far forward and now that broke... I'm thinking I need to find a friend to weild a tab down there... Or maybe Kelly's would work ?:banghead:

I have an 07 TE 250 as well, and I've only just noticed the kickstand swinging too far forward. For the first year and a half of ownership, it was just fine. But something happened in the last few months. It's all tightened back there, so I have no idea what's going on.

Same thing for my 2006 TE250. But no matter how tight that bolt is I still goes too tar forward.

My bike was lowered 1.5" and the kickstand was way too long because of that, now it is barely long enough on flat ground.

I had the same problem with my '07 TE450. Over time, the kickstand became about 3" too short, as you can see in this photo of 2-2x4s under the kickstand.

Then I saw how another guy had fixed his for when he switched from SM wheels to off-road and back again. He made his kickstand adjustable. I asked him to do it for me and he did. Cost $40.
The photo may be a bit hard to see, but there are 3 adjustment holes and a spring pin pops into whichever you choose for whichever length you want.
