    I just repainted my 40mm forks on my 510 project & i thought i show you guys how well, rust-oleum
    Gold rush metallic spray paint #7270 matches the original color, pretty darn close.

    Gold for '82 and milk truck white for '83 on. But the gold does look good on the pic above.

    I use rustoleum gloss white on the frames and plastics years ago. It held up fine. I just purchased some VHT heat/oil resistant spray paint to try. The heat paint may hold up better in the area of the pipe and cylinder on the frame.
