250-500cc Goofy issue

I was wrenching my 300 and the very back bolt on the subframe which holds the side plate on snapped off. Its like huh. I looked and now theres this 1/4 inch hole there in that subframe. There was apparently some housing there to screw the bolt in which isnt there now. I think it slid somewhere inside the subframe.

Without welding a chunk there and retapping. Is there some kind bolt/housing combo that I could buy at Ace or napa or something?

shame you live so far up the contry you could use mine

squirt a bunch of grease down in the hole before you put the new nutsert in. the grease will keep the old one from rattling.

I bought the tool to expand the insert because from the factory they were not expanded enough and would spin making it difficult to remove the screw that holds the plastics in place.
