Bought it at TCP, Moorpark CA, 6/13/13. Worked with Dennis S - a straight-up and awesome guy. Mahalo nui, Dennis!

Can't ride it yet. A few action items to take care of first -
    -Nevada OHV Registration
    -Buy tools and stuff
    -New bike teardown and service
    -order Lectron 36
-order FMF Fatty and TurbineCore 2

I plan to run the bike in OEM form (must get a spark arrestor), for now. Since I haven't played in the dirt since 1973, I'm sure this bike will be teaching me some manners. The 144 kit install is a given. Eventually the WR will undergo Steroid treatment and become a WB165 w/200 pipe. (Mahalo nui Wallybean for all your R&D!!)

Kelly, please email me your contact info. Send to reynold.angel@hotmail.com. Mahalo Brah.

Mahalo plenty to all you Cafe Husky members for real-world info and discussions.

Iff you realy wanna go fast you don't Need the 144 kit.
Log on to pitlane-biz and read the Jan Thiel and Frits Overmars topics.
Jan is THE man who gave almost every famous rider a winning bike. Rossi Stoner lorenzo etc.
Worked with niëto lazarini and well a lot.
Iff you try just a little with the information they give you can make 45 horse easy.
The most powerful 125 makes 54 horses and still is durable with the right knowhow.
Iff you Settle for 10 les horses you sure gonna make your friends wish they had your bike.

Congratulations with your new bike i wish i was that lucky.

I'm SURE I'm gonna love this bike. Especially after reading the all of the comments here. You all pretty much confirmed my gut feeling to go with the WR125.

Thanks S ander! I'll search for those articles. Looking forward to good reading.

I don't have the need for speed. I'm old and beat up, and just want to have some good fun playing in the dirt. Besides, it's been 40 years since I've ridden a dirt bike and I don't have the finesse and skill to put 40+ horses to the ground effectively . For now I better work on clutch and throttle control. LOL

"lucky"? Nahhhh. I saved up a long time to get this Bucket List item

Congrats! Your biggest problem will be getting the smile off your face after riding it. I've had my wr150 for a while now and I still can't believe how much fun it is(especially when you ride with other people with bigger bikes).Enjoy:cheers:!

    Haha
To bad dutch is hard to read. Jan tells great stories about the racing years on a dutch site. How they stole gasoline from Honda, or how niëto promised to fix the truck from the butcher but used it to go racing in Finland and brought it back nothing done to it. But with an invoice for labour and parts. Lol
There is a story about an exhaust that they shortened 3mm and went from 19th place to nr 2 in the first lap. Two strokes are 70% exhaust.
Good luck with your bike and hope you Need a surgeon to get the grin off your face.
