Hi Everyone Perhaps you have heard that Graham will be coming over the end of December to put on a couple of riding schools here in California. He asked me to help out in the organization. We have two great private venues lined up. There are a couple of spots still open for each school, so consider this your invite. Dec 26 - El Cajon One day School Dec 30/31 Hesperia Two day School These should both be a great time. Just watching Graham do his thing is an amazing experience. The schools will be aimed to intermediate riders, so you don't have to be a hard enduro expert. All the proceeds go directly to Graham, thanks to the generous help and volunteer efforts of the land owners. Take a look at the link and online sign up. Feel free to send me an email if you have any questions. http://www.enduro360.com/2014/10/18/featured/graham-jarvis-school-sign-ups-open/
Intermediate Graham Jarvis Intermediate or Intermediate Us Normal Riders Intermediate? Graham is amazing. If only I could make it down for the class.
He is limited to time constraints and needs all of his students to be similar and close to a general skill set. Intermediate riders tend to be semi-experienced, level headed and open to acceptance of training.
Buddy Jon signed up for the one day in San Diego. I think it is going to be a lifetime highlight for him. Really wish I could join him. He would rather do the 2 day but timing issues. Damn I wish I could make this trip.
more photos from our most excellent adventure http://enduro360.smugmug.com/Other/SD-Jarvis-School/46585420_cTLJ7c#!i=3786843519&k=35WZ3VG the best foto has got to be near the end of the day, me pulling Grahams bike over the top edge of the canyon......hahaha I helped Jarvis get over the top. he immediately went back down and blasted up and over super hard on the gas (TC250).
That was a good class, I was on the small bore husky. Being new to California I definitely need to work on my big hills with rocks . The endurocross stuff felt more like home.
Time to bring that small bore husky out to the National Hare and hounds It will climb anything First race is end of Jan in Luceren Then the next weekend is King of the Motor You can line up right next to the teacher
I rode a 125-144 husky as a "big" guy in the desert for years.... nothing in lucerne I wouldn't at least try
I may have to take you up on the hare and hound. It will be a new experience from tree's of the Midwest and I have to adapt to this new terain and the more riding the better. Where is the best place to find the needed info. I have an AMA card, do they require a district card? Any other necessities?
www.district37ama.org Where are you located I am in the Coachella Valley you can always come ride one of my loops near Indio Ca or meet me in Luceren
I'm in Trabuco Cayon (Orange County). Looked up hare and hound last night. I still need to get over to the dmv to get a sticker (appt scheduled for 1/22) as it says it is needed. Would be great to find others to ride with being new to area.
Graham Jarvis school thread........ if you're on FB tag up on all the fotos, I posted all the the ones Chilly shot from the day.
You can use a out of state res for a hare and hound a lot of guys travel from other states to race here Just like when I go to other states they accept my calif res
