Has anyone else in California been having trouble getting thier Green Sticker from DMV? I can't believe how long its taking to get this sticker. Anyway, I'm sure it will be in the mail someday.
The DMV had a problem a while ago about sending out vehicle renewal notices and getting tags and stickers out due to a budget dispute. Should have been fixed by now though. My renewal notice for my Jeep came really late (in the month that it was due which was July)but the day it came, I went on-line and paid for it and the tag arrived within two weeks.
This is for an off road bike (2009 tc510). I paid through the maill. DMV cashed my check already. Seems like I should have my Green Sticker by now. Maybe its just me?
This is for a 2009 TC510. Maybe slower for offroad bikes? Check has already been chashed. I was also wondering in anyone else who lives in CA, has had the same problem?
Maybe it got lost in the mail. Check with DMV. Come to think of it, all my red and green sticker stuff came in on time this summer.
Ah ok, I was thinking that the dmv was doing something weird like wanting the road bikes (te/sm) to have a green sticker or something.. All my registrations are early in the year, so it sounds like some issues they may behaving as of late.
Funny, I just realized after reading this that i haven't gotten my green sticker for the Tc yet either. I paid over two months ago...but like others have said, I know the DMV is way behind on this due to that budget thingy. Good thing I got her plated last year (that sticker came quick).
Okay, so your waiting even longer than I. Look tomorrow it will be in the mail.... Its cool, I plan to ride a couple of private tracks, but next week was thinking about Metcalf. I've never been there.
Metcalf is nice, actually i don't think anyone there ever even looks at your bike (or at least has ever looked at mine). Pull up pay your fee and go, although it's better to be prepared than not.
Just call metcafe and ask, they will let you know one way or the other. You may need to bring some type of receipt to show them when you bought it..
Cool, I will do that. I looking at going the middle of next week, so maybe it will have came by then.
