Howdy all. The previous owner of my bike had shaved about 1" off of the seat and it was AWFUL. Only about 1.5" of seat foam left, and my 210 lb arse was immediately on the plastic pan. I just couldn't stomach the 4 month wait for Renazco (his seats ARE the best- had one on my SM610), and didn't want to be without my seat for 2 weeks for the other options. Ordered the Guts standard height soft foam and comp cover (TT can order them for a discount) and it arrived in 1 day! Took some patience to get it perfect (about 2.5 hours total) but it's definitely doable for any D.I.Y.'er. Fit and finish is great- maybe better than stock. The soft foam is slightly firmer than stock, but seems to be much higher quality and distributes my weight more evenly. Not Renazco comfort, but about 3/4 of the way there and miles better than stock for $125 to my door.

My 610 also has a "Guts" seat. Was installed by the original owner so I've never known what the stock seat felt like. I have to say after seeing your Guts seat I'm jealous...I want one like that. Mine makes an already tall bike even taller which doesn't fair well on the trail when you've got to plant your foot down to avoid going down. So there's another item on my "to do" list. Thanks for the pic. Jerry
